416 Lakeshore offers twenty individualized, self-contained units while also providing communal areas and activities that create social opportunities and lessen the potential for isolation and loneliness. Our organization believes that housing for adults living with mental illness is most successful when it is designed to recognize that each person’s recovery is personal and individualized. This housing model acknowledges that some people prefer to live with others while having space of their own.
We encourage anyone who is interested in being considered for 416 Lakeshore housing to fill out a Housing Interest Application and return it to CMHA Nipissing. We currently have a wait list of interested applicants, but since different rooms may have different tenancy requirements, we will be filling any spaces that become available by matching the most appropriate applicant with the available unit.
